Kirk Davis, LPC
Therapist
I bring a lifetime of experience and hard-won perspective to the work we’ll do together. Men, in particular, are often told to handle things alone—I offer something different: a space where you can speak honestly and be met without judgment. My approach, for men and women, is integrative and grounded in evidence-based practice. I specialize in Health Psychology and work from a psychodynamic foundation, exploring the deeper patterns that shape how you feel and live today, while drawing on mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and CBT when a more behavioral approach fits. This is a partnership. I’ll have your back, and we’ll expand and grow together.
About Kirk
Kirk Davis is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in helping men, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s most challenging transitions. He works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and questions surrounding identity, meaning, and purpose. With a specialization in Health Psychology and a wealth of personal and professional life experience, Kirk helps clients explore the deeper patterns that influence their emotions, relationships, and overall well-being. His approach is integrative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based care.
Kirk brings a lifetime of experience and hard-won perspective to his work as a therapist. He understands that many people, especially men, have been taught to manage life’s challenges on their own, often carrying burdens in silence. Kirk offers a different experience: a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can speak openly, gain insight, and work toward meaningful change.
His clinical approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, helping clients understand how past experiences and unconscious patterns continue to shape their present lives. He also incorporates mindfulness practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and principles of Health Psychology to provide individualized care that supports both emotional and physical well-being.
