Marissa Woods

LCPC

I specialize in supporting adults as they move through life’s challenges and transitions. My goal is to create a safe, open space where clients feel understood and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, rebuilding after a divorce, or struggling with self-esteem, I work to help them find clarity, healing, and a renewed sense of direction.

My approach is flexible and collaborative. I meet each client where they are and draw from a variety of therapeutic tools to fit their needs. This may include cognitive-behavioral therapy to reframe unhelpful thoughts, exposure therapy to gently face fears, or mindfulness practices to build presence and calm. At the heart of my work is a psychodynamic perspective, allowing us to explore the deeper patterns and experiences that shape how clients feel and live today.
